Hi, I am Jonathan. A local pest controller in the south Nottinghamshire area.

I am a pretty traditional pest controller and wherever possible try to adopt non-toxic methods to maintain our precious environment. However, I know that this is not possible for some methods such as wasps. For projects such as large land rabbit and mole clearance, I go back to the traditional methods of ferreting and long netting to protect the environment as much as possible.

You may want to know my background. My background is in land management. I've more than 40 years of experience looking after land in various ways. I even started ferreting at 14 years old.
​
At South Nottinghamshire Pest Control we are trying to play our part in the ethical methods of waste. For rabbits in particular we make sure that they go back into the food chain, as food for dogs, snakes, marine life and even cheetahs.
